Its 9:50 p. m. and we just got back to our room.  We were here for our first Wine Maker Dinner.  All I can say is it was wonderful!  Eileen and Ken put out a 4 or 5 course meal (so much food). Good wine and storyteller.  Thank you both soooo much.  We’ll be back soon, but on the Harley… RenoNV

Elam Biggs

Elam Biggs is a delightful B&B within walking distance of Grass Valley's historic district. The rooms are lovely, the breakfasts yummy, and the staff super friendly. Be sure to ask Peter for some magic tricks.   -- The Lamkins

What a wonderful hidden gem! The hosts could not have been nicer. They even loaned us beach chairs to take to the river. Wonderful breakfast cooked and presented with loving care. Beautiful property with lovely rooms and a sweet little garden in which to sit and sip Peach Tea.

We feel blessed everytime we stay at Elam Biggs. Barbara and Peter treat everyone like family. When you sit down for breakfast everyone is so relaxed and friendly, the experience becomes one of the more memorable moments of your trip. Peter will have a surprise or two that you will never forget!
